Composite Doors

Our Composite Doors are manufactured from 48mm weather resistant, laminated veneer timber cores. This solid core provides rigidity and stability. Each door has a high performance ABS plastic outer skin pressure bonded to either face. This protects the core from the external environment preventing flaking, twisting, bowing and warping.

Frame

All our composite doors come pre-hung in a REHAU 70mm PVCu frame. REHAU profiles are subject to stringent quality controls, including the quality assurance system BS EN/ISO 9001. All frames are fully reinforced to help enhance the strength and security qualities.

Security

Standard locks have been tested in accordance with PAS 24 and have been tried to over 60,000 cycles. To further enhance security every door has a 6 point anti-drill cylinder.

Hardware

A multipoint locking system helps to ensure that our composite doors play an important role in preventing unwanted intruders from entering the property.

On a standard residential door, when locked, top and bottom hooks are securely engaged into adjustable keeps, supported by a center deadbolt.

A flag hinge allows for bi-directional adjustment, helping to ensure a perfect fit and operation.

A selection of supplementary hardware is available. Such items include, knockers, spy holes, letterboxes, numbers and security chains. All can be provided in a variety of colours.
